TRAVEL ADVICE
For now, traveling is a little different from how we remember it.
While each destination may have its own guidance regarding COVID-19 (such as wearing FFP2 protective masks even outdoors), by now it's pretty clear what the drill is, and what we need to travel with peace of mind (or almost!). So check the following before you go:
- Passport and/or ID card: a classic, but it doesn't cost much to remind you. Check in time if the expiration date of your passport and/or identity card are in compliance with Italian travel requirements.
- Vaccination certificate: When in Italy you hear or read the words "Green Pass" do not worry, it simply refers to the proof of vaccination. As all over the world by now, proof of vaccination is digitized to make the most common daily activities easier, but also participation in events and festivities. For more information on what to prepare before travel, read here (ENG) or here (IT only).
- Passenger Locator Form: simply put, the Self Declaration document which must be completed before arriving in Italy and presented at the airport once you have landed. Please note that it must be filled in also in case of travel by other means of transport (car, train, etc). Visit this link to compile it.
- COVID-19 Test: It's not always required upon arrival, especially in high season. But since the rules change very quickly, we always recommend checking what the most up-to-date guidance is on this here.
- Quarantine: We recommend that you keep up to date here on the updated rules on when the quarantine requirement exists.
- Travel Insurance: Ask us all about it! info@golfinitaly.org
- How to get back home: let’s plan this in advance! Depending on your departure destination, we recommend that you inform yourself in advance about the conditions of travel into your country. Do not hesitate to ask our agent in case you are in doubt.
- Don’t worry! Whatever you need, we will be by your side 24/7 and you won't have to worry about a thing.
